I call this a Synergy Pension – the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. What about your contracting out pension from SERPS – remember that? Also, do you know whether you have hit your lifetime allowance yet and if so what the next steps are?

For ultimate control for your pension, you may have considered a SIPP and you have probably seen the press advertising the latest, greatest top fund managers - which ones would you choose for your pension? Maybe there are also some direct shares that you interested in – these can be incorporated into you SIPP too.

Amidst all of this planning for yourself, your thoughts are also with those around you, to protect the wealth that you may leave for them in the future, to help create wealth for them now and to make sure that if anything happens to you that your family can manage financially.
